I know this topic is kinda unrelated to what ppl on this board discuss, but if you took a sufficient amount of chemistry @ college: how hard is it to obtain a degree? Would it be foolish to major in chem. If you have little beforehand knowledge? I'm doing a pre-medical course plan where I need to take some requiered courses and then get a b.s. in something...and seeing as to how alot of these required courses are chemistry classes, i could shave off a semester or two if i majored in it...and perhaps I'll learn how to make some mind expanding products on the side thanx

i'm a biochem major, and loving it. a lot of people say it's real tough, and not everybody gets it. in fact, not a whole lot of people get it. but if you love the stuff like i do, it's not bad. =)

Im not but plan to mabey, its ether scientist or doctor, my choice will be do i want money or happynes a very hard choice.

You can do both..80% of all ppl who get into medical school have majored in a science of some sort.
