will canadian pharmacies no longer sell otc psuedoephedrine containing sudafed pills? wtf will people do when they get allergies or a cold.

also, acetone will be class b. what type of bullshit is this? they're are many uses for acetone other then drug manufacture. what will the people who use acetone for legit reasons do?

i think this is a bunch of fucking bullshit. if pseudoephedrine is already illegal in the states, wtf do you guys do to get the shit?

You know I had just said the other day that Ottawa was discussing this very fact. Here in the States we can still get pseudoephedrine only they are seemingly starting to pack em' full of shit. Luckily, we've got many a chemists who can jump that hurdle. And as far as acetone goes......well at least it's still available like it always has been. That(making it class B)is total bullshit man. If I were you I'd "stock-up" and prepare!! Tryp. what's your thoughts on the matter? Your Canadian as well as a chemist.

class 2 for acetone??? what is a class 2, will it b hard to get the product anymore?? i am 14 and have bought it numerous times to make acetone peroxide and it has never aroused suspesion. lol, i even bought 1litre 1 week burnt all the remains for fun and bought another litre the next week and no1 was any the wiser

The only time ephedrine or psuedoephedrine is illeagal is when your sitting around with lab equipment and a pile of pure psuedo or ephedrine. That I imagine would be extremely suspicious.

As for acetone being classified, I highly doubt it. In that case they better classify a dozen other organic solvents, cause mostly as far as drugs go, it's a clean-up agent (meaning product clean-up, as in washes, re-xtallizations etc...). Acetone can be used to make all kinds of drugs. As far as amphetamines go, it can be joined with just plain bezene for P2P, or a whole other world of benzene based ring systems to lead to ketones that would lead to amphetamines (such as MDMA, DOB, etc..). Most of the street chemists you have (esp. and mainly with meth) aren't really chemists, just greedy people out to make money by some "recipe" they have learned. SO methods via P2P will probably not be chosen, as it would require I guess what you can call an actuall chemist.

If they do, they also have a few other good reasons, such as acetone peroxide being a valuable explosive (think terrorism).

i dont understand if they're trying to ban pure pseudo or everything and everything containing pseudo(otc cold pills). someone might want to clear this up. good thing iodine or red phosphorus aint on that list. and acetone shouldnt really be a problem either. just need to get better contacts within some factories and your set to go.

It's bullshit nothing will change they can't regulate drain opener, muriatic acid, fiberglass cleanup solvent and paint thinner. Too many people use these primary chemical industry products sulphuric acid alone is the number one produced and used chemical in the world(besides that noxious mix we call gasoline), yeah like they are going to regulate H2SO4, maybe put out watches for kids buying it. same goes for the other three chems listed!

Well, I don't dream myself, but those regulations seem to be pretty harsh. I think chemicals lake acetone and toluene are so widely used that any attempt to schedule them as a controlled "class b precursor", will result in an incredible amount of paperwork. But then again, I have to produce my I.D. and F.A.C. to buy bullets, so if there is enough support in the general public for the supposed benefits of these regulations then they will no doubt come into effect. Many of the schedule A precursors I recognize from dreams posted in an elementally inspired site, so I think they are mostly geared to preventing E dreams. That said, I think we might (hopefully) see a resurgence of certain psychedelics that do not require so many controlled precursors(although many of the schedule b ones are nessacary to almost any dream). But where theres a will theres a way, and where there is money, people will follow. Denatured annie has been around for a while, I don't think this has stomped on too many dreams.

Fuck, sorry, didn't read all the fine print, (very fine print), could the fact that the U.S. has adopted a similar schedule of precursors account for the current "acid drought"?

It probably means that things containing pseudo are stored behind pharmeceutical counters. Like in australia, pharmacys have signs saying to recent 'misuse' of pseudoephedrine containing thinks (such as sudafed) they reserve the right to limit or refuse sales of it.

No doubt it will become harder to accuire. Just like our Canadian codeine and ephedrine laws, it will probably move behind-the-counter with a limit on how much you can buy. I suspect similar restrictions with acetone, but they can't make it ILLEGAL per say, people won't stand for it.

Currently is it legal to buy ephedrine in Canada?
