I was wondering what equipment is *definetely* required in a lab to make meth? I do not want to know where to get it as I already know but I would like people out there with the knowedge to tell me for sure what equipment I would to need.

(Not that I am planning to do a bit of cooking - just for educational purposes, obviously...)

Alright, for educational purposes only...

First, you need your recipe. Your also going to have to have a reactions flask. Filters, coffee filters doubled and tripled will work. Funnel, and a sepratory funnel. You will also need several other glass containers, jars will work. You will need a heating source, and electric hotplate will work best. You will need your precursors, and distilled H2O. You will need hoses of various lenghts. You will need a glass dish that can go from a hot oven to an ice cold sink of water, without cracking. I think this should be about all that is absolutely needed, I'm sure if i've missed anything, someone will let us know. Hope you find this helpful....

you could read any synth and it will tell you the equipment needed, do some research, dont waste our time. However, the equipment is the easy part, you have to have chemistry knowledge, and i dont think you have that. You will need to hit the books for a while.

Really a meth lab can consist of stuff found in anydudes kitchen. Really you don't need any sophisticated stuff, or lab specific gear.

Just like acidmelt said, it is totally dependant on the procedure you are using.

You need a reflux condenser with stirring,cold running water,sepoatory funnels and vacuum distillation apparatus also vacuum filtration funnels.That is all ya need to make amphetamine. Of course your chemicals,which phenylacetone will be the hardest to come by. You will probably have to manufacture this yourself. In which ya need a pyrex tube 1 meter in length 1.5cm inside diameter. wrap this with heating coils to make a furnace packed with thorium catalyst.

if you know what your doing and have chem knowledge - yes.
otherwise - no.
and i would NOT recomend you doing anything like this with out at least 2 months of studying on the subject.

amphetamine synthesis is the easiest illegal substance to manufacture,then xtc any isolation from plant material is fairly easy also.(lysergic acid amide from morning glory,cocaine,morphine,dmt etc.)

Dude, LSA is easy to do, LSD is not.... Cocaine would be extremely difficutlt do to as well... I think we had a long topic about that on here.. GHB is probably the easiest to do, as long as you can get the precursors. Amphetamine is not too difficult, with knowledge, followed by meth... From my understanding, E is hard, rather complictated to do.....

bbell was talking about extractions for the cocaine, lsa, morphine and dmt, those are easy to extract if you can get the plant material.

XTC can be easy. If you don't mind really really sucky ass yeilds, the halosafrole method is the easiest, and if done right WILL give back some product. Thats easier than any pill extraction and HI reduction IMHO.

i think that the halosafrole XTC is at the same difficulty level as meth also, both are easy but take time.
