Hi Chemist... see you can help?
1. I found this on a Floor Chem... 1st product:- 2,Butoxyethanol, Monoethanolamine, Water 2nd product:- 2,Butoxyethanol, Sodium metasilicate, Potasium hydroxide, Surfactants
2. Can the above products replace 1,4 Butanediol? and save to consume directly or must remove others chem?
3. Is there any GOOD website that can help me in Chemistry (Industrial Chemistry)?
4. Anyone knows wat Produtcs (Chemicals) in ACE HARDWARE that are WORTH for me to Explore with?
5. Below are some of my research?
1,4-Butanediol [110-63-4] Synonyms: 1,4-Butylene glycol; 1,4-Dihydroxybutane; 1,4-Tetramethylene; Tetramethylene glycol; butanediol; butane-1,4-diol; diol 14b; sucol b; 1,4-tetramethylene glycol; butylene glycol; tetramethylene-1,4-diol; C4H10O2 90.1218 X1001508-6 110-63-4 16 1.017 230 3.1 1.445 >=10 g/100 mL at 23 C 121 EK0525000 Colorless oily liquid. Re: Gamma
1. ok 2. no this stuff is all worthless, definitelty do not ingestit either. 3. Industrial chemistry? No. Other things yes, do some searching, noone is going to flag the way there. 4.There are no direct precursors at the hardware store, but you can usually find: muriatic acid, sulfuric acid, sodium hydroxide, DCM stripper, toluene, pet ether, diethyl ether, xylene, and acetone. 5. Please don't waste space by posting stuff like properties, there is no reason for this.
