does anyone know what chemical it is in asthma (sp?) inhalers which makes people breath easier because i took a load of puffs on one of these inhalers and it made me really giddy... just wondering any help is appreciated

probaly ephedrine or something along those lines.

what is prolly happening is the inhaler is just alowwing you to get way to much oxygen from taking a bunch of puffs. thats what there made to do is open these pores up to allow oxygen to exchange easier.

Inhalers usually contain corticosteroids but I'm sure some have ephedrine or epinephrine, depending on the country the severity of ones condition and/or one's doctor.

Primeateen Mist(<--sp?) has Ephedrine sulfate. Neosynephrine has epinepherine. Jesus! I can't spell 2day! Peace!

they usually have albuteral or some other quick anti inflammatory drug. it was the aeresol you huffed that got you fucked up...bad shit

athsma meds dont get you high...try too many accolates and see...nothing without aeresol

i had bronchitis not too long ago, it got so bad that just walking make me tired because my lungs would only take in about 53% the normal amoung of air, even though i smoked a doobie before seeing the doc. so they gave me an inhaler which contained pirbuterol acetate, worked pretty good too.

but i bet the med didnt get you high.

mine is salubutemol... never used the thing since my chest infection cleared, i can smoke like a chimney and feel fine.

I am an astmatic and i take ventolin (sp?) when i get really wheezy (something to do with all that weed?) anyway, that definatly contains steriods because i asked my astma nurse. She reckoned that a few disks of the stuff would get you fucked, but the rest of the shit would probably damage the lining of your lungs in big quantities

yes i have to taken many puffs of the old inhaler. lol. the thing in it that gets you "giddy" is abuterol.
