i reciently acquired a large amount of alum and i was woundering what cool (read illegal) things could be done or made from it

ok here put some HCL in a glass jar with a small neck then toss in some of ur aluminum and place a ballon over the neck let it fill.

now u should have a ballon full of hydrogen... enjoy it.

Now, I'm sure to feel stupid for asking, but, we are talking about the same stuff that's been used in old cartoons and things like the Three Stooges, which is usually put into some punch, or something, which people then drink and consequently are forced to pucker due to the extreme sourness of the alum.
