there is pseudoephedrine AND ephedrine in ephedra. A methanol extraction would probably be really nice and then a hcl conversion since you probably won't want it freebase.

when you extract E out of Ephedra you will have to put some effort into cleaning it really well. Also you will need a large amount of Ephedra to get a small amount of E. I have the ratios around here somewhere, I will look for you.
