Chloral Hydrate
The chloral hydrate recipe says to start cold and watch for the chlorine to stop absorbing. What does that mean? Then heat it up and watch for it to stop absorbing. I have insomnia and would love to be able to put myself out some nights, but of course the pussyass doctors won't prescribe anything that actually works. Would a quarter or half dose make you mellow without puttin' you down? It seems so --experiences,anyone? I'm no lightweight--120mgs of phenobarbital while drinking beer is good for me, so what suggestions do you all have for me?

Re: Chloral Hydrate
when the chlorine stops precipitating you can raise the overal soluability of the soluability of chlorine in the solution by raising the temperature. there are several ways to make a substance more soluable in a solution. raising the temperature, the most accurate when working off charts and quantitative data- experiments performed before that is and results that can be graphed soluability in this case.
