Boating Question
My dad and I are winterize our boat. How do you go about putting in antifreeze we have the thing that goes o nthe motor then connects to the hose and into the anti-freeze, we started the boat but it did not suck any anti freeze in the boat

LOL anti-freeze in a boat!
Sorry dude no good. A boat has a water intake that sucks the water in while cruzing and there is no real way to use anti-freeze while operating the boat. The ear mufs are to flush the salt water out of the motor after use!!!

Take the jug of antifreeze and sit it on a flat spot on the boat.  There's no water(ok maybe a small amount that just doesn't completely drain) that's stored in the engine of most outboard boat motors. So freezing isn't anything to worry about. Just make sure to keep your battery charged and drain the fuel. That's about all that's needed to winterize a boat.

cover your boat too. vinyl can grow some pretty funky stuff(not a good funky)and if you don't have vinyl it's a good idea anyway.
