I originally posted this in the General category, but thought it belonged here... so here goes-

My cousin just bought a brand-new red Ford Lightning and is undecided as to what to do with it. He has put some nice 18" rims on it, put on a beautiful exhaust system, titanium tinted windows, and of course had a sweet stereo system installed.

He just needs some help with what he should do under the hood and with the color neons he should put on it. There is a hydraulic bed cover on the back, and he wants to put some neons lining the bed and a few on the undercarriage. He's already had special spark plug wires, Flowmaster kits, and I think K&N components installed. And the truck came standared with a SuperChip.

Any input would be much appreciated!

*sigh*... Suping up a truck? That just defeats the whole pupose of having a truck! An american one to! You might as well lower it and put wings on it.

I got an idea :

Trade it for a chevy and find out why trucks are made in the first place!

Aren't Ford Lightnings already supercharged? Last time I checked they were... Another thing, Neons are Ricey. And by Ricey, I mean they are TACKY! The truck is already fast enough for a Street truck. I mean jesus christ how fast do you need to go? you fuckin psycho.

first off no neons very few cars can pull off the look and a candy apple red f-150 is not one. 2nd im not sure on the cubes of the eng in the svt but being a small block ford there are many parts that would help. first off nos
would be the biggest bost for the buck, maybe a roller cam kit and some better rocker arms but thats alot of work. im gussing this truck will not be raced and if so the mods he has should be fine
