here in peace loving canada we dont have the right to bear arms which in turn doesnt give any depressed terenager the right to shoot down ppl in their school. So we doint get that extra defense but it makes it ahrder for aassholes rto get a holdof guns. Ya if you really wanted to get one in canada you have to register and stuff. Its not rteally i right to have a gun. See what the world is becoming. Right to bear arms ya rihgt. Right to be shot Boo states.

Actually there are approximately nine billion firearms in canada, with only seven billion of them legally registered with the canadian government.

NOBODY has that right! Regardless of what country they live in.

There were a number of school shootings in the year of 2001 and 2002 in germany, which has strict gun control comparable to canada.

Take into consideration the population here in the united states. Within any larger population you've increased the frequentcy of violent crimes. Take for example, let's your school is having a drawing, you could purchase one ticket but your odds will increase if you purchase five hundred tickets.

no the school shootings come from the fact noone is held responsible for what they do. When my dad was in high school (about 30 yrs ago) they carried shotguns and rifles in their trucks which they parked on school property. they all carried knives in school and teachers kept rifles in their room during deer season. but were there school shootings? nope not until the UT shooting. the school shootings come not from guns but from lack of disiplne and respect for life. If we werent force to hold our anger back as we are taught in school ( mine atleast) then it wouldnt build up until it came out with a bang of a gun. dont blame guns for shootings, blame the finger that pulled the trigger. a gun is a tool and i can just as easily kill you with a hammer or screw driver( which happened in Houston about 2 yrs ago kid got a phillips screw driver in the back of the skull)

I could kill someone with my bare hands, guns only make a difference when someone else uses something other than there hands, knives, rope, chain, gun, etc. Guns are not the problem, insanity, anger without an outlet, and stress are what causes killings, the gun often makes it more merciful and less painful than getting stabbed repeatedly with a screwdriver.

People need to learn to relax and they need someplace where they can beat the shit out of someone or something without killing it.
