in dragonball goku has a rather large head in dragonball z his head is small butr i still think they did a good job making the change from child to adult

Goku is portrayed in a very gay way in dbz is it jut the american version or in al the versions.

Whacker I would take some issue with you're derogatory use of the term "gay," but this isnt the forum for that, so i'll let it drop.

As for the badly done dialogue, yes, it's just the american version, the japanese one has nudity and cursing. The problem is that cartoons in America are seen as exclusively for children, so when moving over an anime from japan, they change it around to become suitable for children. This usually entails changing the plot and, yes, the dialogue. Then the english "darn you freiza" becomes the japanese equivalent of "fuck you freiza."

I would say if you want the real DragonballZ, get the uncut, subtitled version. The translators don't get away with nearly as much with subtitles, becuase there are people who can tell what is REALLY being said, and yell at them for it.

ROK: In dragonball, Goku is a little kid, little kids have big heads, otherwise he would look like a short adult.

In DBZ, he's more than and adult, he's superheroic. If his head was bigger, he would look like a normal adult. Did you know that the average man is only 5-6 heads (the hight of his head is the measurment for comic book caracters) but a superhero is on average 8 heads tall. In order to look heroic, he must have a larger than average body.

that why i watched dbgt episodes imported from mexico. its in spanish but they dont cut out the nudity(i dont think there is any in dbgt) and gore the language is also better because they use stronger words not curses just strong words.

why is the mexican one different from the japenese one

Uhh the mexican one is in spanish. thats all and i like it better in spanish because that way i can listen and watch what is going on rather than just spend my time reading subtitles. and also the mexivan dbgt ended 2 years ago.

I still say the only way to watch anime is it its original form, so id rather watch the sub's then the dub's.
