i think i saw them pretty recently on nickelodeon. i just walked by the tv and my sister was watching it. i thought they had dissappeared too, i guess not......

BTW I remember going to a lecture at the L.A. museum of Natural History on Australopithecus in seventh grade. A very early form of man. Ugly as shit. But interesting to hear about though. I remember afterwards the professor let us examine obsidian knives that he had found on an expedition. VERY INTERESTING. He also demonstrated how to make those knives out of larger pieces of obsidian similar to the ones the Australopithecus would have come across back in their time. They were fairly efficient in cutting up thier food given their intellectual capacity.
