I recently became introduced to anime, and I really want to expand my collection. I already own Burn up W, Some of the Tenchi OVA series, Armitage the movie, Gall Force, Those who Hunt Elves chapter 1, and two Hentais (Dragon Pink and Rei Rei). I have seen Evangelion, Bubblegum Crisis, Galaxy Fraulien Yuna, Battle Angel, Sailor Moon & DBZ, Eskaflowne, Debutante Detectives,Venus Wars, Eyes of Mars, Ninja Scroll, & most of the Gundam Wing series. Are there any really good titles I'm missing out on?

it is the dumbest movie i have ever seen. the animation is great, the plot is remedial, and its primarily for a female audience. meaning half of the male roles are pillow biters. EVERY CHARACTER DIES save two: the main character and the good guy "dream watcher" who is a crippled old hag anyway.

The final battle is the worst ever: the main character's best friend, fuma (they were butt buddies), has to fight him to the death to determine the fate of the world.

fuma, now evil, runs at kamui (the protagonist) in attempt to kill him with his sword. all of a sudden, a sword materializes in kamui's right hand and he charges at Fuma, yelling "FUMA!!!!"

the two swords meet, fuma's breaks and his head convieniently pops off. that is IT. the final scene shows kamui hugging the severed head of Fuma crying. that is fucking disgusting.

what a movie. all in all, 17 of the origional 19 pivotal characters die horrible deaths. not counting the countless civilians.

let me tell you, 19 characters is a tough thing to keep track of.

Lain is good, so is Gundam Wing, but the best has to be....Neon Genisis: Evengelion. The *!BEST!* anime ever made.

actually, the older series in record of lodoss war is much better as far as art is concerned. the only thing that the new series (chronicles of the heroic knight) has that the older one did, was the chibi-esque portion at the end (its hilarious).

and in the older series.... orson doesn't die. i can't believe that they had him die in the new series.

devil hunter yohko is good I just bought it used for $6 yesterday.

Love Hina is cute, Fushigi Yuugi is very good too, what I've seen so far.

For fans of Kenshin, Samurai X is important to see, and has some amazing style, almost like watching an artist in action.. very good.

But go get all the Rurouni Kenshin Dvd's if you have a player.. well worth the money.. I have all that they've released so far, which is about 30 episodes..
