Boo.
Ignore the subject title, its just to say that i'm back on totse until the new year- then i'm off again. Anyway:
I'm back in my flat now, which i own outright (the building is freehold). I was wondering, since i won't be needing my flat again for the forseeable future, how would i go about setting myself up as a landlord? Is anyone here a landlord? Although i'm more interested in infomation from English landlords- any help would be appreciated.
As far as i know- all i have to do is get the tenant to sign a contract saying that they will stay in my flat and pay all rates to me- but i'm not sure if there are any other legal issues to take care of.
Chunk BTW, do you suppose that the CAB will be able to help me out?
