how do u know when plants(pot) are ready to be picked and harvested?????

The fall or when the light of day gets shorter in your part of the world. In example los angeles california would have been about 2-3 months ago now.

What are you talking about? It really depends on what you're growing, as different strains have different grow times. Tell us that so we can give you a good answer instead of telling you broad answers [ie check it's weight]

If you dont know much about growing learn how to do it first

but since we are all lazy just wait till the females starts making little seeds then harvest or you will loose most of the bud because it will be covered with seeds

If you know a little about growing weed out the males as soon as possible then wait longer till the females buds get big and heavy and when growth starts slowing down harvest

males can be grown seperate and sold to younger people

make sure to dry it well before storage or it will mold

Also if you keep clipping the top it'll branch out more and grow fatter... so I've heard anyway...
