Does anyone know what a "Grey card" is? I'm interested in getting into Black and White photography and have been told that this is an essential piece of eqipment (?).

It may be to do with the development, I don't know.

when I was in photo class we used a process known as time and temperature which is probaly the easiest way to do it. We didn't have anything called a, "grey card" that might be part of another method. if you want some more info i can type up some of my photoclass papers
