can i gorw a tobbacco plant by ripping up a few cig's and "planting" it in the ground

Ummm. Okay, I'm going to assume you're not joking about this, so let's talk about growing plants. Now, you can take a live cutting off a plant, place the live cutting in soil or another growing medium, and thus get a new plant.

The key word here is 'live'. The tobacco in your cigarette has been picked, dried, stored for god knows how long, shredded, stored again, and finally laced with evil chemicals.

It is as dead as a fucking rock.

You can buy tobacco plant seeds anyhow- Nicotiana is their name. Try the garden centre. Don't know if they make good smokes tho'.
