APPLE JACK
Waatzzzup? sorry to post this again but i'm sure someone has some advice on it. ok here it goes
i got this recipe from a site on how to make apple jack and and was going to try this recipe but havent tried it sience i cant get apple cider now cause it aint in season so i figured i'd post it and see if someone has herd of it or see if someone will think i'd work
Apple Jack
RECIPE WILL MAKE 2GAL
3/4cups yeast
2 1/4 cups brown sugar
1.7gal apple cider
Put cider in containers (i find that glass pop bottles work well) Add remaining ingredients. Place can in a warm place. Allow to ferment (see article at bottom on how to ferment) until all fermentation stops. Distill (see at bottom under "how to fermet")
Fermentation
take a baloon (any size the bigger the better) and a few rubber bands and put the balloon on top the bottle and make an air tight seal using the rubber bands. the fermentation will be done when the balloon inflates, and won't inflate anymore
Distill
ITEMS 1. ONE 5-10 GALLON PLASTIC JUG DEPENDING. 2. ONE FREEZER THAT WILL HOLD A 5-10 GALLON JUG.
FILL JUG 3/4 FULL OF MASH OR WINE AND PLACE IN FREEZER THAT IS TURNED ON HIGH FOR 6 HOURS TO TWO DAYS DEPENDING ON YOUR FREEZER. THEN TAKE JUG OUT OF FREEZER AND PORE OFF THE LIQUID. THAT'S IT YOUR DONE. SOMETIMES YOU MAY HAVE TO CHIP AWAY SOME ICE.
now you will have to water this down cause it will be really strong when you take it out of the distiller. now this is wine so it will get better with age (the site i got this from said let it sit 6 months but i think i will be drink able when it warms to room temp.
store this in a warm place with corks in the pop bottles you may have to take the cork out once and a while to let the pressure out so the bottle doesnt explode.
also i forgot these warnings were at the bottom of the site 1. DO NOT DRINK ANY SHINE THAT COMES OFF OF THE STILL BEFORE THE TEMP REACHES 69 DEGREES CENTIGRADE. 2. DO NOT DRINK ANY SHINE THAT COMES OFF OF THE STILL AFTER THE TEMP REACHES 95 DEGREES CENTIGRADE. 3. DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES DRINK ANY SHINE AFTER YOUR TEMP HAS REACHED 97.5 DEGREES CENTIGRADE
IF YOU DO NOT FOLLOW THESE RULES YOU WILL KILL YOURSELF END OF TOPIC!!!

Re: APPLE JACK
I am wondering if anyone knows how to make Moonshine cherries? Is it as simple as putting cherries into a jar of cherries? I had them one time...I ate three of them and i was fucked up...I usually can consume a large amount of alcohol before being fucked up. It's hard to understand why these were so potent...
