Rocket Fuse
Right, so i was on a ski trip near NH and since FW's are legal there i decided to drive a little further and get some fuse. Anywho, i got home and decided to see how fast it burned. I cut off a little piece, lit it and to my chagrin it started flying around my room lighting several things on fire and further scorching my walls. After containing the small paper fire i located the spent fuse. The casing was still intact. Intrigued i did a few more tests outside this time and found that the stuff is pretty kick ass and makes a nice cheap ass thrill since its only 6 bucks for 40 feet. The rockets usually go in completely random directions and actually go for quite a ways. I also got a cheap ass RC car from my aunt (you know, the ones that only turn 1 way in reverse that you buy at a clothing store for 6 bucks) and since i was bored with it i found a new use. i filled the bed with hairspray, lit it and drove it around. It was pretty cool until the plastic started to burn

Re: Rocket Fuse
I did that also, I was bored and took and inch of fuse and lit it on my window brick. Woosh, to my suprise, if flew of my window. It was cool.
Also, the hair spray car might last longer if you coverd it with a few layers of tin foil.

Re: Rocket Fuse
Various types of blackmatch and quickmatch fuse take off like tiny little rockets if you light small pieces. Firecracker fuse does the same thing, but is much smaller and lighter and less likely to ignite things in your room.

Re: Rocket Fuse
I can only get my fuse to fly by encasing all of it except one end with tin foil. I ended up with one of those cheap pos R/C cars last year, and they can be fun... I attached a D11p rocket motor to it and ran it over a tilted ramp while two electrically ignited lampares (gas fireballs, whatever) went off next to the ramp. The car spun through the air as two fireballs rose up majestically behind it. It's a shame I didn't have a video camera for it. :/
