i was browsing through this site and i came across the hth pool chlorine and benzine high explosive mixture and im wondering if that would work or if anyone has tried it as hth is (CaCl2O2) and that aint exactly a powerful oxidiser. it has only 2 oxygen molecules in it. so has anyone tried it?

me not so sure bout this. me doesnt think it is a high explosive, just a low explosive, but me is not vewy sur.

The strength of an oxidiser doesn't depend on the number of oxygen atoms it carries, but rather on the strenth of the bonds between the oxygen and the molecule's other atoms. Ca(ClO)2 has a fairly weak bond, and it easily releases the O2 to burn fuel and produces CaCl2 as a waste. It is not used as an HE, however, and the mixture explodes only when enclosed in a container such as a glass jar.

I dont know what im saying? Your the person that thinks pool chlorine is a high explosive. I've acualy made HEs unlike you and ido know what im saying. As for me being shot or dead, that opion is up to you.
