Those bastards!
Well more and more devices are being implemented to deter the use of chemicals by 'terrorists'. I have seen on the Aerospace website that many websites that sell pyrotechnic chemicals are now putting small strands of dog hair into their chems!! This way if the feds find an undetonated explosive they can trace back the precursors to the source by examining the dog hair.

Re: Those bastards!
thats seriously fucked up ... damn people kepp getting smarter and smarter ... but how would they trace it back ? they would have to use a shit load of dogs with the vast amount of chemicals and they would have to record the readings from each dog andw write it down for that company .. i think that would be to much work for them to even think about doing .... but it is possible i guess

Re: Those bastards!
That just got me thinking... Maybe one should put extra dog hairs into the chems from stray dogs and such. That would give the feds a hard time. Hmmm... *6C starts dreaming of opening up his own dog hair store*

Re: Those bastards!
Normally, if I have an explosive sitting around, I'm going to use it that day.

Re: Those bastards!
Really guys why would you even worry about it? I mean are YOU planning on blasting down a building anytime soon. Tracking stuff is fine in case someone uses it to kill say your girlfriend.
In my eyes the dog hair thing is futile. They sell non-dog hair Am nitrate cheaper along side the other stuff. And dog hair can be seen and removed, time coinsuming but possible.

Doubt that fertilizer AN has 'tagents' like that.

Re: Those bastards!
Either way it's always best to be careful. People are quick to point the finger these days. If some misinformed blowhard get's wind that you have "bomb making materials" you're an instant demonspawn as far as most people (including police) are concerned.
