weight / volume conversions
i just ordered a bunch of flash powder (1 pound pottasium pechlorate and 1/4 pound german dark aluminum powder.) thinnking i could used my dads scale to measure it out, but he is suspecting me of dealing, so wont let me borrow it("i am araid you will use iit eith drugs"), doesnt realy make sense to me, so basicaly i was wonderig if anyone could give me basic volume ratios ???, (if it helps the stuff was ordered from united nuclear)thanks alot, i also plan on pcking it in

You could make yourself a balance and get some calibrated weights. May take longer but probably just as accurate.
Doing a volume mix just isn't as accurate, the weight per volume just doesn't match up.

Why dont you buy a scale. I was at dollar general, and they were selling diet scales for 1 dollar, and they are pretty acurate. They are best when you use a lot at a time.

Good thing you are using a great digital(?) scale. Do not use cheap shitty spring type scales or most postal scales. I had a postal scale which was incredibly inaccurate. Use the proper scales if you want to get into pyrotechnics. I use an MX-120 digital scale.
