substituting oxdisers
just a few questions,
could I use 7/3 (by weight) KNO3 to dark aluminum for flash powder? could i use 6/4 KClO3 to sugar in smoke mix?
in other words can almost any oxidiser be substituted?, or do some have beter uses than others? if so whatare hose better uses? and why?

Re: substituting oxdisers
KNO3 will make shitty flash, and KCl03 might burn to fast for smoke. Some oxidizers are interchangible, some arent, and some can be in differnt amounts.

Re: substituting oxdisers
i would cange the oxidizers, because KNO3 and aluminum will suck, but not with magnesium. It will make a better smoke mix that kcio3, and kcio3 will make a better flash powder with aluminum that with kno3. The flash powder will be pretty unstable so be careful.
