hey everyone. i had a friend that made ammonium triodide and we had some fun with it. my luck he got busted with coke and i dont know how to make it. can some1 give me directions, and show me a way to stabilize it somewhat. thanx

Well NI3 is very unstable and you cant really stableize it, also its expencive and cops keep track of iodins sales cuz of its use in the drug world. I doubt you have the intelgene for such an unstable compound so ill tell you not to try to make any HE's until you have the intelgenece.

We just got done describing this in a topic that isnt even a day old. You can make the Aldrin mix. It is similar to armstrongs mix.
The Aldrin mix:

1 part silicon dioxide
1 part potassium bicarbonate.

It will go off at about 50 feet per second.

You can get the silicon dioxide at wal mart or a pharmacy, but like the H2O, have your ID ready and do not look suspicious. You can also get the potassium bicarbonate at wal mart.

Those are probably two of the least reactive substances known to mankind.

That won't work at all.

Armstrong's mix is potassium chlorate, red phosphorus, and sometimes sulfur. Ammonium/Nitrogen triiodine is ahydrous iodine (crystals, in other words) and ammonia. Either of the above can quite easily kill you if stored or handled, so if you decide to blow your hands of with them I must insist that I had nothing to do with it.

About nitrogen triiodide... i have never had an accidental detonation or deflagration (whichever it does). That is probably because I use crappy storebought ammonium though.

Yeah. It was either rc or Einstien that blew that mall up, but I am not sure which one. EW is gonna have a really bad reputation now, and they might have to shut it down completly. If so, this is the next best forum, and we will start to get a lot of new people if it does happen.

Go read the thread at The Forum. It was rc, and Einstein was released. And I doubt that The Forum's going to get a bad rep directly from this incident. The papers didn't mention E&W, just the Finnish board.
