Ouch.

Rule number two: Don't light the brown fuse, only the green one. I found that out the hard way when I was a kid.

Brown fuse or Firecracker fuse is simply thin paper with gunpowder on it, it burns VERY fast is extremely unsafe to use in most pyrotechnics.

Green fuse or Control fuse is much thicker, between 1/8th & 1/16th of an inch, it burns much slower and it burns at a slower rate.

That too, please refrain from using Roman Candles as flaming phalluses in a pitiful and most likely painful attempt at impressing the ladies!
