Default Butaine Cylindars

I'm wondering- how would i go about causing a butaine container to burst? I have made a sort of mud out of Acetone and Pyrodex, and put a butaine cylindar in a container of this stuff. It burns pretty hot; my idea was to overheat the container and cause it to burst that way. Although i don't know if the crap will burn long enough to overheat it...

I also have a propaine container...the kind used for portable stoves. How would i take that out? Would a so-called "Crater Maker" be able to puncture the container, and cause the gas to ignite?

A cratermaker will set off a butane can. It'd doubt one could take out a propane bottle, but you could ask Rat_Bastard about his giant CO2 cartridge...

Some say the propane cylinders will go if heated with thermit/thermate in a sealed steel cylinder, Sounds like a lot of hassle for very little return.
