I am trying to make some 25mm armor piecering ammo for my pneumatic spud cannon without using machining tools. Does anyone have any better ideas? I was thinking about making it a sabot that has a 75mm (3in) roofing screw as the main projectile, that way it should be able to punch through something like a phone book at a close range 10m(33ft) My spud cannon has a 25mm(1in) barrel and uses a solenoid. The problem is though, that my previous attempts at makin sabots have resulted in disaster.
why did you make two threads with the same topic ??

Re: AP spud cannon ammo
lol at first i thought you ment ammonium peroxide(i know thats not spelled right) and was thinking that you might want to keep your body parts. but of what use does a armor piercing round for a cannon have? ya gonna take out some tanks? i think that explosive ammo would be better as long as you are no where near it when it fires.
