k...this may sound like a stupid question, but here goes...i have a slingshot that uses harpoon rubber bands (the thick ones, 1cm or 2cm diameter, with a hole in the middle) and i can't seem to fasten the leather thingy that is used to cup the rocks.

the slingshot bands here have loops at one end but since your not useing one maybe you should just cut a small hole in both ends of the leather (they should already be there) and tie a reef knot or a snare.
