Re: Chemicals that ignite gasoline ------------------------------------------------------
1) mix gasoline with sulfuric acid, you figure out the ratio
2) fill up a glass bottle with this mixture
3) dissolve potassium/sodium chlorate and sugar in warm water
4) soak several paper towels in the solution until well saturated, allow them to dry
5) wrap the paper towels around the glass bottle, secure them somehow
i think thats how it goes, sounds right, but im not sure if mixing gasoline with sulfuric acid is safe. sounds fine to me, anyone know if its dangerous or not?
anyway, that think up there makes a self-ingiting molitov cocktail. no flame required. you just throw it, and when the sulfuric acid mixes with the chlorate and the sugar, it will spontaneously ignite, ingiting the gasoline.
yeah i know its not exactly what you were asking for, but it spontaneously ignites gasoline.

The anarchists cookbook is useful for something! The sulphuric acid will not mix with the gas, it'll form a separate layer, yes it will be safe.

"Chemicals that ignite gasoline?"
I don't know. A little bit of the stuff called "fire" usually does the trick.
You could try the old permagnate/glycerin thing to light your gasoline. I think those are the two.
Why do you ask, anyway?

Re: Chemicals that ignite gasoline ------------------------------------------------------
I once tried finding the potassium permagenate stuff befor but couldn't no matter how many snake-bight kits I bought. Maybe you know of some way? I think that mixing gasoline with any tipe of chlorine will work, wether its a chlorine tablet that you get from a pool store for your pool, or basicly any kind of pouder laundry (I cant think of the next word so I will make some geusses, its the stuff that you put in the washing machine after the clothes are put in and there is a little water, you usualy use a measuring cup to put it in the washing machine depending on how big the load is,) detergent/cleaner/soap? . I would also try the powdered soap that you put in to the dish washer but I think that this one is much more unlikely to work. I think that the laundry detergent one will work because the powder is ment to clean dirt from the clothes, kind of like how bleach (comes in large white plastic bottle 3 gallons in size I think, you can get it in the same section that you get your washing machine soap at) destroys collered clothes by turning them a ugly light brown color ( but I think that bleach might be used to clean white clothes) bleach will definantly give you some kind of reaction because its powerful stuff with poisenous fumes, I used to work at a job where we mixed liquid soap and a cap full of bleach into about 5gallons of water inside a yellow wrolly container thing for the mop (you know the kind that janators have) with wich we used to mop the paneled tile floar. Please dont try sulfuric acid unless you are REALLY careful, and you might want to know something about the violent reactions that acids and bases have too, or you might have a pot of burning gassoline spitting sulfuric acid in every wich dirrection.
IM BACK!!!!!

Re: Chemicals that ignite gasoline ------------------------------------------------------
when i said potassium/sodium chlorate i meant that you could either use potassium chlorate OR sodium chlorate, not a mix of the two.
