Re: crappy bomb?
If the fuse is good enough to keep burning and ignite the BP/match head mixture, you bet it'll work. It's a simple pipe bomb.

Re: crappy bomb?
yeah, it should make a pretty good boom. just stay clear of the thing, pipe bombs give off shrapnel.
where does the fuse go into the pipe? and how?
also, did he test the fuse to see how what the burn rate is?

Re: crappy bomb?
It should work flawlessly. Its a simple pipe bomb, make sure the ends are on tight. Use a GOOD fuse, not some grey firecracker fuse. Use a green bottlerocket fuse, or similar fuse, or make your own using a shoestring, gunpowder and acetone. Make sure the fuse is plenty long. SHoestring fuses can work very well. Also, I've found its worth the time to seal around the fuse with a type of putty or glue. (A thin layer of epoxy, PVC glue, plumbing putty or clay comes to mind-5 minute epoxy works great)

Re: crappy bomb?
what you could do is put the pipe bomb lying on the ground spill petrol around it then make a massive line of petrol long enough so that you are a long distance, covered and protected then light er up!!! BOOMMMMMMM!!!!!!!!
