Personally, I've almost been charged with making and pocessing an explosive device, but they dropped them because they didn't keep any for evidence.

I could chalk it to stupidity but I think it was done on purpose. They said there was potassium permanganate in it, which was a lie, because it was a simple 6/4 mix of sugar and potassium nitrate, simple smoke bomb. Has anyone else had to deal with this kind of shit, or any other related shit from the cops?

We got our spud cannons and draino bombs "banned" from town. By "banned" i mean the dumbass town marshall said, "Hey kids, don't do that anymore."
But we only got caught becuz we were dumbasses. Actually we were like 12 or 13 an discovered a new kewl thing, so of course we did it like 5 times everyday....

i got busted the last two years 4th of july, but not this year. the other years, the cops came up to us (our house has one of the biggest fireworks show in the town, so its pretty likely that someone calls us in).they just told us to stop or else theyd confiscate what we had left. we complied...for that night.

once i decided to toss one of my smoke bombs (big one) in a tennis court (bad idea, not usually like me). it easily filled up the tennis court and flowed out and covered everything within about 70 feet of the tennis court. i guess someone thought it was a huge fire, so the fire department came, and we got questioned, i said that we saw a huge smoke cloud and decided to find out what it was, and that we didnt know who did it. i think they suspected me, but i guess no proof, no bust.

once the cops came cuz i was shooting my potato cannon, but luckily i had printed out a copy of the essay by the ATF stating that and why potato cannons are legal, so it was ok. he just told me to not shoot at anything living or into anyone elses property.

im trying to think, but im pretty sure thats about it. i never really got in trouble for anything, since i take all possible precautions.

been busted shooting an orange gun by the cops.
same as potato guns but we use frozen oranges
puts a hole thru anything!!

i got caught doing shit a few times, once, i was in a public park and the parkiees came along and i got charged with fouling the queens parks... from that day on i always used the public toilet

Ive been caught by cops with KNO3/Sugar mixtures and fireworks before like 4 times, thankfully all of the cops were leinient(sp?)
