Re: agent orange
Agent orange was a defoliant, it wasn't inherently dangerous as a defoliant. The problem was a byproduct of the process used to make it; Dioxins, an extremly carcinogenic agent, meaning they cause cancer.

Re: agent orange
yeah, its a defoliant used in Nam. they sprayed it from planes onto forests to exfoliate (remove the leaves from) the trees. this way, they could see the snipers hiding in the trees.
i think its pretty illegal now.

Re: agent orange
This defoliant killed everything in the jungle and affected the children of the veterans. It was one of the many dangerous shits experimented by the U.S. Army in Vietnam. Not to tell that even the 2 A-bombs from Hiroshima&Nagasaki were a kind of 'in vivo' experiments.I guess U.S.A. thinks that it is too close to Japan... In Vietnam they also used astrolite as a 'landmine'(impregnated in the soil).

Re: agent orange
Yep, it was used to kill plants. Not just remove the leaves from plants, but pretty much kill all vegetation it landed on. Its banned, I believe, because it causes cancer.
