 Shotgun powder.
I have a high quantity of it for reloading shot gun shells, I have been using it for making m-80s...etc. I was just wondering is it pretty safe to handle or is it sensitive? Nothing has happened yet, just thought it wouldnt hurt to ask.

Re: Shotgun powder.
It explodes best when it is under pressure I.E. sequestered in a sealed tube.

Re: Shotgun powder.
for the most part it is very safe. BUT if you have double base SP you want to watch you a little bit because it contains NG.

Re: Shotgun powder.
yeah thats true. double based smokeless powder contains nitrocellulose and nitroglycerine. it explodes, but doesnt give off a lot of hot gasses, which doesnt make it that good for m-80's and firecrackers. but try confining it and detonating it with a cap! it goes off with so much power, it unbelievable.
