Re: MY ingredients for homemade pepper spray....
Just hand over the 10 bucks at ace hardware.
Formaldehyde, can we say deadly carcinogen? But if you want to get some your best bet would be to find OLD preserved animals in glass jars. Like in a biology class. They would have to have been bottled back in the day though, now they just use alcohol (I think). Any way don't let it touch your skin and wear a gas mask. It's some serious shit I wouldn't mess with it. Schools have be evacuated when some kid breaks one open.

Re: MY ingredients for homemade pepper spray....
awe hell, formaldehyde is not that bad. i mean it sure stinks, i guess it'll mess your eyes up if it gets in 'em. but once i used a weak formaldehyde solution to get myself rid of toe jam, and other fungus on my feet. but anyway i reckon that this mixture will sure as hell never compare to comercial pepper sprays.

Re: MY ingredients for homemade pepper spray....
Real concentrated pepper extract can be obtained as follows: Obtain a few pounds of red pepper from the grocery store. Using a kitchen pot w/ lid and correct sized collander (the thing w/ all the holes in it). Place one bottle of HEET brand gas dryer in the yellow bottle (methanol) into the pot, then put one pound of pepper into the collander and place it in the pot as well (should be suspended over the methanol). Finally, place the lid on top and turn the heat on the stove to medium. The longer it stews, the more concentrated it will be. Use a well ventillated area and DONT USE AN OPEN FLAME TO HEAT THE POT, METHANOL VAPORS ARE VERY FLAMMABLE
Save the onions and lemon and make a salad
