Re: Throwing Knives
A) Get some Knives that are balanced for throwing. B) Move in a little closer to start. About 5 yards worked for me. C) Work on keeping your motion nice and level. A problem I had at first that i figured out is in the throw. Most people tend to bring the arm across their body in a range between the shoulder and the breastbone during release. i.e. with the knife up in the ready position, you bring the arm down to gain velocity for the release, most folks start with the hand parallel to the outside shoulder and release with the hand parallel to the heart. The diagonal motion fucks up the energy distribution and causes crooked shots. Keep your self straight. Think of your motin as all lines and angles. Keep it level and even.

Re: Throwing Knives
I dont think so. I could throw a hatchet well first time I tried. A throwing knife requires more finess.

Re: Throwing Knives
that is my only beef with a throwing knives. how come the bladed end isn't weighted more than the handle so it spins "more" than the handle?
