Re: liquid explosives?
Hey man, my intelligent database for explosives consists of Molotovs, and chembombs, thats it! I don't even know what the fuck thermite is, or where to get it.
Chembomb, Drano Bomb
Aquire 20oz pop bottle
pour a little of The Works (tm) into it
Add three small balls of aluminum foil
put on the cap, and throw it
MOLOTOV
get a berr bottle
add gasoline/lighter fluid
stick a gasomoline soaked rag into bottle
light the rag
throw against a building/rock/car/anything to break the bottle
THATS THE EXTENT OF MY SKILLS AS FAR AS EXPLOSIVES GO

Re: liquid explosives?
Whoa, Mat. That is really sad.
That is a very sloppy Molotov to begin with. Do you really think the jews in WWII would've put their lives in the hands of a beer can filled with gasoline?
Try this. use a wine bottle. Glass. use 2 parts Gas, 1 part wine. This should spread like a spider web.
Many variations work.. but i'd watch your described design.
Happy.. yeah, well. .. happy that

Re: liquid explosives?
for molitovs the best mixture is one part gas one part deisel fuel.
thermite is by weight one part powdered aluminium and one part iron oxide powder. It can only be ignited with powdered magnesium or somthing that produces comparable heat. thermite produces 2000 degrees of heat when it burns.

Re: liquid explosives?
So many replies, yet no answers. A very popular liquid explosive in a mixture of hydrazine and aniline, equal parts by weight, detonate with cap or looking at it funny, either way it goes off without predictability.
I am really curious as to know why thermite, which burns at 3000C, was brought up on this post? It's not a liquid nor an explosive. At least the other non-explosives posted here were explosives.

Re: liquid explosives?
3000 degrees is what good thermite burns at im talking about crappy homade stuff I dont have iron scale or chemicaly powdered aluminum only rust from burned steel wool, and finely filled alluminum piping. Matius said he didnt know what thermite was that why i went in to it. You should really read all the posts before you ask questions like that.
second their are very few answers because there are so few high explosive that can be produced out side of a lab with any kind of saftey sodium chlorate being one of the more safe ones the main danger being electrocution

DUDE?! I hope you didn't think I said beer CAN, I said beer bottle. You can't use a can, molotovs have to be glass. I'm not that stupid.

Re: liquid explosives?
There aren't any explosives one can make in a lab with any kind of safety either. I did, however overlook that Matius asked, sorry. Current capable of killing a person is not required to make sodium chlorate or many other chemicals. Milliamps are required at the most, voltage is more important.

Re: liquid explosives?
liquid explosives, oh man, you dont want to play with liquid explosives, sure NPN is somewhat stable, but breathe it in and you will make the obituaries, IPN is also toxic and has been known to cause tumors, and will also kill you if you inhale it for extended (about 4% for 2 hours or so) periods of time, Nitroglycerine has been known to explode before, during, and after (if acid traces are left) nuetrilization, you will die if you attempt make any liquid explosives, so please dont try.
