trying to kill christmas
It's Christmas. Religious, festive holiday practised by a shit load of people, although it's more for the little people, coz they can't see past the Santa-lie.
Australia has a reputation for being multi-cultral, you know, we let in everyone and make it alright for them to practise their own religion. Fair enough.
But when it comes to these foreigners (I didn't want to be racist!!) telling us that Christmas and Easter should be banned in kindergartens is fucking pathetic.
Christmas and Easter are highly publicised, you know, TV programs, advertising and shit like that, of course kids are going to see it. Other than being a consumer money wasting trap, it excites little peoples and it's all really fun for them, I've got 3 younger brothers and a sister, it's all they go on about.
All these 'foreigners' go on about how that Christmas contradicts their religion, and it's not their religion to practise it and it should be banned to suit their religion. Hey, we didn't ask them to come into Australia, nor do we force them into abandoning their religion and the customs that accompany it. We even fucking support them financially until they start working. If they decide to work that is. (People should work for their money, not smoke it all)
If we were to migrate to their country and expect to practise our customs and for us females to wear our normal casual attire, we'd be stoned to death, or tortured. Neglected and rejected by their society.
I think these people should remember whose fucking country their in, and kinder kids won't give up their Christmas, and if they're anything like my sister, they'd probably tell these foreigners to get fucked. I also noticed that this 'attack on Christmas' was only aimed at primary schools and kindergartens. And guess what, the kindergarteners won!!

Re: trying to kill christmas
Dude, i couldnt agree with you more. Thoe exact points you make are ones that piss me off all the time. What also annoys me is that, when they do work they expect to get THEIR holidays off aswell as ours. When was the last time you saw a 100% foreign workforce open?

Are the "little people" the kindergarteners? or are they the lower strata of intelligence in your culture's adult population?

Re: trying to kill christmas
Do you know the real story behind Christmas? Christmas before was a pagan holiday celebrated by the Greek. It was the birth of the Saturnalia God. And on that day this was when men got drunk, fucked each other then beat their wives Fact is, it is still practiced, til they called it "Christmas". And Emperor Constantine, the one who popularized Christianity in Rome, is the one who merged these 2 pagan holidays together. And easter was also a day of having sex, represented by the Rabbit (easter bunny) which is the symbol of procreation.
also Santa is an anagram for Satan.
Before i knew this i would have a problem with your situation, but after.... ?

Re: trying to kill christmas
Sacrificing culture for the sake of political correctness is bullshit.
Thing is, most of the foreigners either don't give a shit, or avoid Santa- and religious-based gatherings and events.
Then we have idiots who believe they represent the views of an indifferent people (non-Santa-lovers) and eventually will campaign to change Christmas to Krismas, because it's a reference to Christ.
I say fuckem. Christmas is what you make it. Enjoy it while it lasts.
