How many go to hell?
If a man shoots someone he goes to hell. But dose the man who sold him it goto hell. And if he dose. What about the man who made the gun.Or the one who sold him the steel. You can take this chain back quite far.If it is true hell must be packed.

What if his throat is punctured, with the axle that had been removed from a child's toy truck?

It probably wasn't a good idea for him to be putting children toys in his mouth, there most likely was a warning.

Re: How many go to hell?
He intentionally jammed it into his victim's throat. Then he used a nun's bra to bind his victim's hands, to ensure a slow and reflective death, by preventing the victim from plugging the hole with a finger...
The point was: does the toy manufacturer and the Catholic Church become responsible?

Re: How many go to hell?
The point of the whole Jesus thing was that people can repent and atone for their sins, and in truly doing so, gain the privilege of joining the guy in heaven after you die.
So, in theory, you could do a lot of fucked-up shit, but if you are truly remorseful, and devote your life to trying to right those wrongs, you're in.

You cant tell me a man who sells guns has no idea that some of them might kill people or the man who makes them.Or the man who sells steel to the gunsmith. And thats another point in law not knowing you did wrong is no a defence. Is it the same with god? Actually most of that stuff didn't apply after Jesus came down to Earth. For example in the old testament when someone sinned they had to sacrifice a offering. But when Jesus came down he was the super duper(couldn't think of a more appropriate adjective) sacrifice, and when he died most of that stuff in the old testament doesn't apply anymore. EDIT: However, all the principles still apply. [This message has been edited by just.landed (edited 12-13-2002).]

I'm sure that they're fully aware. Maybe they think that guns prevent even more violence. By uncivilized pitchfork-wielding mobs, for instance. I've sold about 6 guns, and I never give it much thought. ___ quote: Originally posted by TigerJK: The point of the whole Jesus thing was that people can repent and atone for their sins, and in truly doing so, gain the privilege of joining the guy in heaven after you die.

Name one religion that irrevocably condemns you to hell (or the hell equivelant) for a single misdeed. They all provide for a change of heart, otherwise the vast majority would have no incentive - after the first sin. You wouldn't wax your car if you knew the repo man was on his way over to take it.

Re: How many go to hell?
User X i am just using guns as a point that a whole load of people would be going to hell like all the people who work in the factory.Or even their families for living of the money. It could be a knife factory or somthing. My point is that hell would be full and heaven would be empty.Or if every body is forgiven then heaven would be full and hell empty.Neither makes any sense.
