Is God Illiterate?
I mean, come on.
He had other people write the bible for him.
He obviously hates it when people think, as that tempts smart people to write about how untrue he is.
In the Book of Enoch reading and writing is considered a very evil thing, and the Angels (Watchers) who taught man how to do them (along with other 'heretic' thing, such as Herbalism, Magick, Fire) were punished to the extent of making the Red Army cringe in horror.
I think God is a dumbass. He can't even write nor read, and that's why he's jealous, cause Man found out how too.
Dumbass Jesus.

Re: Is God Illiterate?
Look at it this way.
The reason a teacher might get you to copy something they write on the board, as opposed to simply handing out photocopies, is that the students will learn more effectively if the the information actually passes through their brain somehow before going straight into the folder.
Now replace 'teacher' with 'God', 'students' with 'human race', and, if you're that way inclined, 'learn' with 'be forcefully indoctrinated'
Side note: Jesus was probably illiterate.

Probably not. You forgot about when he debated with the Pharasees about the Torah and they were impressed with his knowledge. This implies study beyond word of mouth. Just a thought. Nox

Re: Is God Illiterate?
Jesus was raised by the son of a man whose lineage extended back to Solomon, and Mary attended the Temple Academy... He was able to readily quote from scripture, and was obviously well versed in philosophy and theology. He was very educated.

God knows all. Jesus does not, but was a jew, therefore he could read hebrew and aramaic.

Jesus could read, but not write. That's the impression I got, since they say the only thing he wrote was a scribble in the sand on one occasion. But who knows right?

Jews in the time were not allowed to be illiterate since they had to be able to read the torah. And if you can read, you can probbly write.
