Yes.
But life is also joy, sadness, orgasmic pleasure, anger, etc......

That was a great movie.

I believe that life can be painful and that you can't go through life without feeling some form of pain (physically or mentally).

But I also do believe that life is not all about pain. Like light and dark, you need the dark to have the light because if everything was light then it wouldn't be called that.

So you need happiness to have pain, and you yoo truly appreciate toe joy of living you need to know pain.

but what im asking is do you personally feel your life is pain? or at least does the pain dominate most of your life versus pleasure.

No pain doesnt overwehelm my life, optamism does. Life is what you make it. What does it matter in the end anyway, you eventually die.

Pleasure, because everything is funny.

Pain is everywhere, if you have a break of pleasure you get pain. PAIN PAIN AND MORE. IT JUST DOESN'T STOP.

Pain is funny.

I don't feel my life is pain. I agree that life is what you make it.

Though I have felt pain I have never let it dominate my life.

Life is very subjective.
It can seem very happy, and vice versa.
It depends on mood and environment.
If you're a teenager, life sucks.
If you're a parent, spending christmas morning with your 2 kids, and watching your kids' faces light up everytime they open a present. Life is the best thing in the world.

I often find that my past and present selves are two completely different people.

Obviously myself when I am in pain, and myself when I'm laughing about it, also feel like different beings...

I see my present self as 3 or 4 different people, and they're all laughing at each other.

yes, to live is to suffer

living is like getting kicked in the ass repeatedly with a steel toed boot, then you die...

its like looking back at something and laughing just sooner than later

I have been alive all of 20 years, and I have been using this handle for almost 10...so yes, i DO believe that life is pain. The art of living is pain management. Some of us are better at life because we can manage the pain it inflicts on us. I also believe that if hell exists then we are living in it. Observe the evil that surrounds us all, and post an intelligent reply to refute this theory.
