umm that place near that other place
Default judgemental emails from the non judgemental.

yes i realize the irony in the title. ok the following is an email i keep getting over and over andover and over and well you get the point. i have added answers to it that i bet the people who send it never think of before sending. tell me what you think of it.

GOD
IF SOMEONE HAD A GUN HELD IN FRONT OF YOUR FACE AND ASKED YOU IF YOU BELIEVED IN GOD, WHAT WOULD YOU DO? SAY NO AND FEEL ASHAMED THE REST OF YOUR LIFE? OR SAY YES, I DO, AND DIE STANDING UP FOR GOD? IF YOU'D SAY NO, THEN DELETE THIS E-MAIL. IF YOU WOULD SAY YES, AND STAND UP FOR JESUS CHRIST, PLEASE READ THIS AND PASS ON.
who says that believing in god has anything to do with believing in jesus as god?

Note: This is a true article that was printed in a southern newspaper less then a year ago

TAKE A DEEP BREATH BEFORE READING THIS

There was an atheist couple who had a child. The couple never told their daughter anything about the Lord. One night when the little girl was 5 years old, the parents fought with each other and the dad shot the Mom, right in front of the child. Then, the dad shot ! himself. The little girl watched it all. She then was sent to a foster home. The foster mother was a Christian and took the child to church. On the first day of Sunday School, the foster mother told the teacher that the girl had never heard of Jesus, and to have patience with her. The teacher held up a picture of Jesus and said, "Does anyone know who this is?" The little girl said, "I do, that's the man who was holding me the night my parents died."
Very touching and probably true.jesus was a great man and like all great men with good ideals is there for those who need him

If you believe this little girl is telling the truth that even though she had never heard of Jesus, he still held her the night her parents died, then you will forward this to as many people as you can.

Or you can delete it as if it never touched your heart.

Funny, isn't it?

Funny how simple it is for people to trash God and then wonder why the world's going to hell.
many people are not trashing god they may simply have a different idea as to what god is.

Funny how we believe what the newspapers say, but question what the Bible says.
funny how some believe both but question the truth in a one sided depiction

Funny how everyone wants to go to heaven provided they do not have to believe, think, say, or do anything the Bible says. (Or is it scary?)
its neither. the bible sets ideals for us so we can regain our image as that of being a reflection of gods image.the bible promotes humility.so therefore god should not wish for any praise(another thing the bible promotes is praise of god).

Funny how someone can say "I believe in God" but still follow Satan (who, by the way, also "believes" in God).
i got nothing.

Funny how you can send a thousand 'jokes' through e-mail and they spread like wildfire, but when you start sending messages regarding the Lord, people think twice about sharing.
funny how many different people have many different views on the lord

Funny how the lewd, crude, vulgar and obscene pass freely through cyberspace, but the public discussion of Jesus is suppressed in the school and workplace.
good point about the lewd crude thing but try and keep comparisons to the same level.workplace and school are different than cyberspace.you neglect to mention the many sites with very good religious discussions.also remember many people may not want to hear anymore about jesus than they have unless they ask to.it may be your job to teach about him but it isnt your job to continually push your ways on people.
Funny how someone can be so fired up for Christ on Sunday, but be an invisible Christian the rest of the week. (Are you laughing?)
good point again. i fullheartedly agree. if you are going to choose the christian lifestyle you cannot only be christian part time.(goes for any religion you choose)
Funny how when you go to forward this message, you will not send it to many on your address list because you're not sure what they believe, or what they will think of you for sending it to them. obviously nobody who sent this to me did this. i wish they had. you obviously shouldnt worry what others will think of you but you should take their ideas(not beliefs(too hard to change beliefs))into consideration.maybe they dont want to hear the same thing theyve heard a thousand times and the 1001st wont suddenly change their mind.

Funny how I can be more worried about what other people think of me than what God thinks of me. (Are you thinking?)

Pass this on only if you mean it.
or to remind others too be considerate of others and not judgemental.(this is a good idea, trust me its in the bible )

Yes, I do Love God yes i do but i may not share the same idea of god as you

The majority of God believers are stuck in the Hebrew legacy of a vengeful jealous war god that demanded his own son to be beaten and tortured to death to appease his own anger and save us from the rules that he himself created.

I think you are very thoughtful and humble about God. I'm pleased to see you know and are close to God's heart. And God's rules are like 'a Dad telling us not to touch the hot stove' as God's motivation is to protect us through His discipline. I'm glad to see that you've somewhat looked into what you believe and have'nt taken it for granted. Besides you are right in not judging as is writen "Judge not lest ye be Judged" although I have seen extemist christians try and say "Oh we have judged ourselves and made OURSELVES PERFECT and thus we are in a postion to judge others" but problem is no christian is absolutly perfect and hence daily repentance for half the time we haved sinned and don't know it. Funny huh. Well I do believe in teaching God's law (don't get me wrong) but just not in telling people how wrong they are. People I think say such judgemental things out of arogance (HOLYER THAN THOU ATTITUDE).Look at Jesus, a prostitude cleened his feet. Jesus didn't condem her but as he saw her heart of repentance He told her, her sins were forgiven. I just think people take it all out of context and say "believe or go to hell", cause we don't know who is going to hell or not cause God is the judge of that, I only can gaurintee heaven to people who accept Jesus in their hearts!
