Default To believe, or not to believe... This is my answer

A bunch of happy christians. They are killed by passing muslim activists. Jews are slaughtered by hitler, and muslims are being steriotyped by americans. I put myself into some deep thought, writing this post. Let me first start off by providing you with some scientific evidence.

First, we know that humans lived millions of years after dinosaurs existed. How on earth could this god have created the world in 6 days, and have created humans and animals in a two day period, when we know that many organisms died off well before the arrival of man. Some people may answer this by using a metaphor ("What God meant was that one day was about 500 million years"). Here is a prime example. Adam and Eve were the first two humans. God knows everything. He is all knowing. He knows the past, present and future. Why didn't he forsee the serpant and stop it, putting an end to billions of murders, accidents and failures? BEcause he doesn't exist. Adam named every animal. I didn't know Adam spoke latin. Hell, I didn't know Latin was invented until the Roman times. Why do the name of animals have Latin scientific names??

Evil... If God is caring at all, he would take free will away form us all. When he does, he will have stopped evil alltogethor. SAtin would not be able to manipulate himself in humans...

This God you speak of, why does he not show himself?

Darwin was right in saying that humans evolved from primeapes. Adam and eve were monkeys?

Me and a friend have come up with a religion. It is not one based on worship at all, but it is based on MODERN times, and how to live a good life. It teaches you how to scam, and steal. How to earn, and develop, and mainly, make the right choices. If everybody contributed to society, we could live luxurious lives. But people are lazy assed citypeople who decide that they are mor eimportant then the rest of the world, and in fact, you are. God tells us to give everything we own to the poor. If we did, the poor would become rich, then they would give to us, then we would give to them, and so on. If it comes down to the life of yourself or your friend, you should choose whoever will contribute the most to the world, and whoever will succeed in doing something... Thank you.

If anyone has any more scientific evedence of no god, please post.

Hmm... I want evidence. Not assumption. CAn I look out my window and know that I am breathing Nitrogen? Can I Look at a fire, and say that it is not hot? I want proof. I want physical proof. How many times have you seen your god. WE critisize the incas and mayan civilizations about their 'false worship'. They at least had proofs. How could they know that lightning was caused by science, when science wasn't even invented? I am alive due to some unknown element that had unique elements. It evolved and changed into a single celled organsm, where I came form today. When we find that life element, I will spit on your God.

Leibniz Principle of Sufficient Reason:

The Leibniz Principle of Sufficient Reason states that nothing can be true or real or existing unless there is a sufficient reason that makes it so and not otherwise. This principle yields truths of fact.

You cant see G-d and therefore its harder to believe in him. If it was so easy to believe then there would be no point. If you believe then you will see miracles. Like do you know how a baby is created? First theres 2 cells frm the parents then it makes more cells that are exacly the same and those make more. Then suddenly they make new kinds of cells. Cells which form a nose, 2 eyes and ex. No one knows how it happens. Its amazing. theirs alot more miracles in this world. Some things you can never explane and G-d is one of them. And about that hole creation thing... how do you think scientists find out how old something is? probebly by how it looks and thats why scientists may be fooled. Oh and that hole monkey thing... Its not true. I never believed that ppl were once monkeys and i never will. There are other explenations for your dinosour questian but I dont think you'll believe them.

For someone who's refuting it, you're taking it awfully literally.

No, we evolved from primates.
To my knowledge, primeape was a Pokemon.

God is not a scientific entity. The very definition of God, being metaphysical is supposed to transcend human science. Therefore religion is an issue of faith, and not science.

Heh. The primeape typo wasn't the first or last of it's kind. My typing is slowly decaying.
The modern 'God' is just some stupid thing.. If the Roman mpire never happened, Christianity owuld not be as popular as it is today.

As for talking about the 'religion' me and a friend made up, it is not a religion really. It is more of a way to live a better life. If you have a million dollars, use it for yourself. If you can get your hands on it, then get your hands on it. Survival of the fittest.

To the starter of this thread... it's impossible and utterly stupid to think that one can discuss a subject such a religion to any depth above a 12 year old's intellect without all parties involved, ESPECIALLY the conversation leader, having a moderate to heavy degree of knowledge about the topic being discussed. I would suggest atleast READING a literary work such as the kuran or torah or bible. Maybe you have read the bible, big shit, now read supporting articles, or possible read the real bible, the latin vulgate, if you're so adept at latin.
The real problem is you're searching for answers to questions about faith, without having the balls to explore the issue for yourself. This way you can look at all of the replies as evangelists, and not people who are far mor read on the subject you have brought up. The perfect word to describe this behavior is stupid.

Nothing's real. How do you know I exist? How do I know you exist? We don't. So, nothing's real for us. Our life is a big joke, a dream. We will wake up soon. I'm not real. You're not real. God's not real. This keyboard I'm touching ain't real. Heh. And don't try to confuse me with your 'facts'. I'm right in my eyes, damnit!
