Religion And War
First off I'd like to make a small whiny complaint of the fact that most of the questions in this forum have been asked a million times over. I used to reply to them, but I'm so tired of the same old shit...
Anyways, I just want to say to you morons who blame religion for all war. You can't blame peoples stupidity on something that's not even human. Religion has never had anything to do with any war. Wars that are so-called based on religion are just about stupid people misinterprating religion to suit their own greedy ambitions.
It's not religion. It's stupid people who don't have anything else going for them.
Cheers, Lost

Which, at times, can be amazingly similar...

Re: Religion And War
Religion is mere dogma and that is the invention of human beings.
Whether or not the inspiration is human, is not known. Yet it is up for debate.
I blame humans for war and religion. I blame god for all of it.

Re: Religion And War
You think your sensitivities are right, and inevitabilities that define what is human are wrong? Maybe its reversed and youre too cowardly and treacherous to admit or realize it. Gasp, what if, nature, that makes us want war, is the right force, and your coddled overly civilized rationale is the manifestation of decay. I see why this conclusion is hard to reach, since your psyche has had such a significant impact on all that was and will be.

Re: Religion And War
The Crusades were a good political decision, to keep the knights of Europe active without having them fight each other.
