The best person to address this to would probably be the pastor himself.

Maybe we should make a separate religion forum for threads that start with the assumption "If God exists/If Christianity is right/if God rules supreme..."

Probably because King sounds better. And Tyrants dont really have support from anyone, and dont treat anyone well. God does indeed favor certain groups and reward them fairly, in the perception of the man who called him King.

I don't think God is like that. He's perfect and understands what the correct qualities of a king needs. Definitly not oppresstion!
