Default teh legal definiton of 'LORD'

OK, this comes directly from TOTSE information and other sources that imply that anything in all capital letters a franchise of something else.

That could mean that LORD as it is spelled in the Bible could also belong to someone. Since it is impossible to have copyright on such a concept (although the attempt could easily be made) this is only one interpretatin of how this ancient text is interpreted in todays world.

The next interpretation is in chatrooms and discussion boards. It has to do with chat swearing being in all caps. So if one writes 'Lord' in all caps on a chat room/discussion board are they yelling and thus using the Lords name in vain?

Anyway, it makes for some intersting pauses when xtian fundies attack the pagan chats.

Taking things out of context is as foolish as applying your beliefs to someone else's life. It might be wise to learn that.

We all have different perceptions as to what cursing is. Some say that saying crap is and other say that all swear words are needless, and still others say that swear words are fine if for the right reason.

Saying Lord in all caps isn't under my definition of swearing simply because God knows what is said and what is really ment. That commandment is between me and God, not me and anyone else. Same goes for every other Christian. Saying that LORD is a sin in itself is like saying using commas will cause herpes. Especially if it is in the original context of the Bible. Further, capitals are used more for emphasis in chat rooms, which does sometimesconstitute raising one's voice. More often than not, it's for emphasis.

I wouldn't trust most of the information you get from the Temple Archives anyway.

Technically Lord isnt cursing, Lord is a title, Even GOD is not saying the lords name in vain. Gods real name is in hebrew anyway, and supposedly 40 letters long (the secret name). However the closest you will get is the letters Yud Hay Vuv Hay, or YHVH (I know its impossible to really pronounce but i think its an acronym for the 40 letter one)
