We are all'God'. Much like the way cells come together to make a body, and ants come together to form one collective style community, we all combine togther to sum up the power we attribute to 'God', because most people are too stupid to understand the concept. Together, we control the aspects of life and death on this planet. We influence the environment, which influences us in a perpetual cycle. The thoughts of some 'higher power' are frivolous and unneccassy. We are all "GOD"...

That's absolutely stupid. Of course we have the potential at playing 'god', choosing when a person lives or dies, and influencing aspects of our enviroment. But only the egotistical types actually fantasize, and think about powertrips such as those. Selflessness!

I can guarantee 120% that I am no follower of the deluded Joseph Smith and the greedy, egotistical sham of an organized religion that Mormonism is...

Why is this egotistical? It is more sensible than any unprovable Deity-based religion. It can be seen that we (as in humans) make decisions everyday which affect everyone else and everything on this planet. You can not prove that any "God" is doing that. This doesn't give the power to any one person or group, thereby denying your whole ego theory. It also is beneficial because it places the responsibility for everyone's actions on everyone, and takes away the silly notions that ones actions are predestined or influenced by strange supernatural forces...

If we are gods then why do we die? why can't we bend the material universe to our will?

How do you know people arent already doing that. Have you ever though that our exsistence as whatever material goes beyond this body that we indetify with. I'm sure there are LOTS of people that experince a higher level of being everyday.

In a way, yes we are God. We are god over all life forms below us, but not human. It's like, you can go kill a worm and feed it to an ant pile, or you can set the ant pile on fire.

There is, or nothing seems, to be above humans. We basically just screw each other over and help each other and it is meaningless.

We have the power to control plants and animals so we are gods to them.

We are very much the Gods with control over ourselves. Can you not walk up to any other person and 'kill' them, thereby robbing there life. Is your actions not dictated by the People in Congress who make the laws which govern your life, the Human parents which have raised you, the Human Police which enforce the laws, the Human corporations which greedily control what you see and learn and are educated with. Are we not the ones who bring new humans upon this earth. We do not just rule over the 'lower' forms of life, we control our own as well.

And as far as us dying, that is simple humankinds way of creating its own humility. Someone who lives too long has the possibly of attaining too much power, so we have purposing, if subconsciously, created forms which we live in, which eventually grow old and die, and those 'souls' are simply placed in new husks, as a process of rebirth (IE reincarnation). The power is still there, just humbled a bit...
