I think i make a huge point here in saying...and most people realize it. Religion is to blame for nearly EVERY war that has happened. If you really think about it. I myself--am not religious. I was supposed to be born into christianity, but they never got me baptised, or forced me to church. Now they know that i have no religious beliefs--and they support me in full. But everyone just take a look at what i said, and don't tell me you do not agree.

Religion is good for some people, as long as they don't abuse it.

Not only unseen. There is also the problem of there being no evidence that supports the existence of any current denomination's view of God. That and that there is no shortage of proof that goes against dogmatic postulates, absolutes, and claims in worldly happenstances and findings.

Math, medicine, science, and technology existed long before Christianity. The bible did help to get people to become literate because the Church needs new incumbents and it does teach some basic principles.

However, it does neglect to mention alot, gives examples of geological and astrological impossible things, and has a huge gap in Jesus's history. In the Bible Jesus goes from age 12 to 30. 12 to 30, what happened to the other 18 years? Theres a good chance that they were offered up as a sacrifice to the church of ecumenical politics, but even if that was so there are so many denominations today that it didn't make a difference.

I believe the title of the thread was, "Religion" sucks, not Christianity, and even then, the structure of christianity allowed for plenty to be thankful for (at least for you guys- cant say its exactly in line with my ideas of good or benefits)
