Most people's religion/faith is what gives them strength. Don't go around making fun of people just because they have faith in god. We all have faith in something. I have faith in myself, my ability, and in mankind. This gives me my strength... god is many people's strength.
That said i feel that everyone should look at things for themselves. I call it the cult factor. Religion is good if it gives the indiviudal strength... but not so good if it controls that person's free will. Most people refer to these as cults.
My previous posts were not meant to be insulting people with faith, but stating that those things were not facts and belief in them required faith. If i have offended anyone, that was not the attention.
Some advice:
And ye of much faith :] Don't expect people like me, who has little faith in what you believe, to believe in something with no proof.

i was going to start a religion based on mother goose.
who laid her only egg to save mankind.
the egg was known as humpty dumpty.
humpty fell off the wall that divided man.
and all the kings' horses and all the kings' men couldn't put humpty back together again.
the wisdom of a child broke through the gloom that descended on man telling of how the key to life was within the shattered shell of the egg of god.
and he grabbed a hammer and cracked the wall until it too fell.
he stood upon the bricks and said now that nothing divides us we can see we are all the same, we are children of mother goose.
and with what became the symbol of the new religion, a spatula, he cooked humpty dumpty on the bricks that heated in the sun, and he passed the fried egg to the gatherers and said:
"eat of this yolk it is my body, eat of this albumen it is my life"
