the grand inquisitor
ever read it? its a chapter in dostoyevsky's the brothers karamazov.
food for thought about christianity. the whole book is really, but its a large book and some of you may not be into that. but that chapter alone is worth reading, and could be read alone as an objective look at christianity, without even considering the plot of the novel.
other good religious readings: the tao of pooh by Benjamin Hoff the te of piglet by Benjamin Hoff narcissus and goldmund, siddhartha by herman hesse mindfulness in plain english by Venerable Henepola Gunaratana
theres plenty more worth recommending that i cant think of at the moment.
got any other suggestions?
